Summer Shenanagigs gives young musicians the opportunity to play in a group, from first meeting to performing in front of an audience.  They learn musical cooperation, stage presence and performance skills while preparing to rock the house at a local venue on the Sunday following the last class.

Let your creativity soar!.  Our art instructor will guide you through different mediums and techniques during this two-week session.

STAGE TECHNIQUE WORKSHOP                                                                  Lorna Balsamo

TUES/WED/FRI 1:00PM-4:00PM                                                                  $300 PER STUDENT

This course marries acting technique and voice production for the stage to assure that you are a well-rounded performer.  Students will then put these new skills to practice in scene work throughout this two-week session.

Learn how to record your performance using interface devices and on-line software to create a beautiful, distribution-ready recording of your music!

You play rock and classical but have always wanted to try blues/jazz improvisation?  This is the course for you.  Our experienced teachers will guide you through the art of improv and more.  Must be intermediate to advanced on your instrument.

SUMMER INSTRUMENT JAM

 

MONDAY THRU FRIDAY 9:00AM-5:00PM                                                    $800 PER STUDENT

Students get hands-on experience with keyboard, guitar, drums, vocal production and more during this two-week, 6-hour per day course.  They will also be introduced to the basics of music theory and practice.  On the Sunday following the last day of class, students will perform at a local venue.
